A FAMILY of four were rescued by the RNLI lifeboat during dramatic scenes on the afternoon of Sunday, May 29.
The two adults and two children had drifted to around a mile off the Trusthorpe coast after getting into difficulties in their 12ft inflatable dinghy
The Mablethorpe RNLI immediately dispatched their D-class inshore lifeboat when the alarm was raised around 4.30pm and managed to reach the family and return them safely to shore.
All four family members were found safe and well thanks to the swift work of the three man crew of Shaun Riggall, Nathan Chapman and Jack Mayfield.
The owner of the dinghy asked the RNLI crew to take the dinghy and dispose of it.
