Rogue trader warning after South Cockerington incident

Police are investigating a possible ‘rogue trader’ incident, which took place in South Cockerington yesterday afternoon (March 11).

Men attended a property and said that they had some spare road surfacing materials, and offered to repair some pot holes on a driveway. No paperwork was offered to the home owner and by the end of the job, the initial fee agreed had increased dramatically in price.

It is believed that there was five males involved, who arrived in three different vehicles - a car, a van, and a lorry with a white barrel on the back.

If you have been visited by these males, or have any further descriptions of the males or the vehicles they were using, please call Lincolnshire Police on 101 and quote incident 221 of March 11.
