RURAL projects in the local area are in line for a massive boost after investment of £1.5 million from East Lindsey District Council.

The Rural Development Programme aims to support the rural areas of East Lindsey and provide opportunities in the more sparsely populated areas, where economic activity is low.

Local communities and organisations can bid into the scheme to deliver projects that will improve the area’s economy with those supporting increased investment and digital technology among those likely to get funding.

Grants of up to £50,000 are available and the money will be targeted towards new projects or projects which increase or expand existing services.
