STAFF at Re-Invention hair salon in Louth have re-invented themselves to mark World AIDS Day.
Re-Invention owner Jak Bakewell and his team felt strongly about supporting such a worthy cause and decided to dress in red for the occasion - and donate all of their daily takings to the cause.
This amount totalled to £468, and all of the money will be donated to the Terrence Higgins Trust.
Mr Bakewell said: “I feel it is very important to publicise this day as AIDS appears to be a forgotten cause, especially in this area.
“We have been supporting this cause for the last the three years running as it’s something all of us at Re-Invention feel strongly about.”
Jak has also arranged to work alongside Monks’ Dyke Technology College, who have agreed to take part in a non-uniform day to support the cause, and will be raising more awareness about AIDS shortly in the school assemblies.
