Service helps famine appeal

A SONGS of Praise Service at All Saint’s Church, Goulceby, raised £138.

The proceeds were shared between the parish church and the Oxfam Appeal for the East Africa drought and famine.

Organisers thanked everyone who gave support as guests were invited to gather initially at Thorngate where Sarah Hamp provided hospitality and cups of tea and cakes were served. Some wonderful cakes had been donated.

The guests then moved next door to All Saint’s Church for a service of Songs of Praise.
