Simon White gets ITV camera operator of the year award

A TV cameraman who has worked several times in the Louth area has scooped a prestigious national award.

Simon White, of Primetime Media, has been working freelance for ITV Yorkshire for the last 20 years and has just collected bronze for ITV camera operator of the year.

Simon was nominated by his colleagues at Yorkshire TV and attended the awards ceremony in London at the weekend.

Over the years he has covered many news stories around the Louth area and travelled as far afield as Australia and America with his work.

More recently he has been filming in Greece, working on a documentary trying to find missing boy Ben Needham.

As well as working on news, Simon and the Primetime team also produce web videos and promotional DVDs, and have just produced a series of web videos for the local charity LIVES First Responders.
