Staff at a garage in Louth have been spurred on to tackle this month’s Louth 5km Run for Life in memory of the firm’s owner who sadly died in January.
Ashley Garbutt, Sue Stephenson, Sarah Banks and Andrew Stephenson, of MA Stephenson Autos, all worked for Mark Stephenson after he launched the family business in April 1995.
Now four of the garage staff are now hoping to raise upwards of £1,000 by running the annual course through Louth on June 30.
His son Andrew Stephenson, who has worked at the garage for 12 years, has taken over the family business while Mark’s sister Sue has worked at the garage for over 18 years.
Sarah and Ashley have worked at the business for three years and six years respectively. and Sarah has worked here for 3 years.
Mark’s nephew Tom is also running with the team.
Fo far over £700 has already been raised in sponsorship for Cancer Research and anyone who would like to add to that can pop into the garage at Unit 1, Louth Trading Estate, North Holme Road.
