Students get top marks as GCSE results are released

LOCAL students have picked up top marks in this year’s GCSE results.

Monks’ Dyke Technology College in Louth secured a record breaking haul as 71 per cent of their students achieved five A*-Cs including English and Maths.

At King Edward VI Grammar School virtually 50 per cent of the pupils achieved five or more A*or A’s at GCSE, well above the national five A*-C measures.

And at Cordeaux 57 per cent achieved five A*-C grades.
