Sutton on Sea man charged with drink-driving and failing to stop after a road accident


A man from Sutton on Sea is due to appear in court next week, charged with two motoring offences.

Trevor Wayne Dodwell, 69, of Alford Road, is charged with being over the drink-drive limit while driving his car down High Street, Sutton on Sea, on September 2.

Dodwell allegedly had 65-78 microgrammes of alcohol per 100ml of breath at the time. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.

He also faces a charge of failing to give his details following a collision involving his Opel Calibra and an Iveco van in High Street, Sutton on Sea, on November 21.

Dodwell is due to appear at Skegness Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (January 6).
