Steve Walker’s Big Swing Band are back in Louth to play for ballroom dancing at Louth Town Hall on Saturday (November 21).
The band is a firm favourite in the town and packs the Riverhead Theatre for concerts two nights on the trot every year in June.
The Town Hall event, however, is designed to satisfy those who want to get up and dance as well as those who like to sit back and listen to the 17 piece band’s traditional swing tunes.
There will be a programme of modern ballroom, Latin American and even some rock n roll giving dancers the chance to live out their “Strictly Come Dancing” dreams.
Steve said: “We don’t want people to get the impression that they need to be experts on the dance floor though. All abilities and welcome.
“Those who don’t dance but who want to enjoy the music are welcome too”
Tickets are £14 from Eve and Ranshaw in Eastgate or by phone 01472 323111.
Numbers are being limited to ensure that there is plenty of room to dance but if there are any tickets left, they will be £16 on the door.
