A THREE-YEAR-OLD boy is in a stable condition after being rescued from drowning at Sutton on Sea on Monday.
As reported on our website, the youngster was assisted by RNLI lifeguards who sprang into action whe he got into difficulty at 2.15pm after falling into the sea from a deep sandbank.
RNLI lifeguard Ross Noble ran to the scene to assist the child along with a member of the public who had managed to pluck the three-year-old from the water.
Ross and fellow lifeguard Hannah Cobble medically assessed the semi-conscious youngster, after which the air ambulance arrived a 2.24pm.
He boy was taken to Boston’s Pilgrim Hospital where his condition is now stable.
