An international bridge player is to visit Louth to present a master class.
Andrew Robson is to be the special guest at Louth Duplicate Bridge Club.
A spokesperson for the club said: “Fresh from his December 2012 triumph as part of the team which won the prestigious Bridge Great Britain Gold Cup and in the New Year honours an OBE for services to the game of bridge and for charity work, Andrew is coming to Louth to give us another Master Class at Louth Golf Club on Tuesday January 15.
“This will be Andrew’s second visit so we are well aware of his abilities including a relaxed presentation style which enables players of all levels to benefit from and enjoy the enlightening content.”
Louth Duplicate Bridge Club says it has had another successful year during which they have gone from strength to strength with an increased membership and grass-roots enthusiasm which has led to the advancement of the club in all directions.
Elizabeth Court was the venue chosen by the committee for teaching sessions and they say this has proved to be ideal.
During refreshments many new friendships have been formed.
These classes have now restarted and anyone wishing to join will be made very welcome.
