A woman has been killed following a collision near Burgh on Bain on Sunday January 18.
Police are appealing for drivers and people who were on the A157, at or near the junction with the B1225 at around 2pm to contact them.
PC Julie Bevan is particularly interested in hearing from anyone who saw either a blue Mazda 2 or a blue Jeep Cherokee - which was towing a trailer - before they collided at the junction or saw the collision itself.
The woman who was driving the Mazda 2 – believed to be 71-years-old from the Woodhall Spa area, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Three children (details not available at this stage) who were travelling in the blue Jeep were slightly injured in the collision.
The road was closed until just after 6pm.
Anyone with any information is asked to leave a message for Roads Policing Officer Julie Bevan on the witness hotline: 01522 558855 or by calling 101.
This is the first fatality on Lincolnshire’s roads in 2015.
