Mablethorpe man involved in crash on A16 near Louth

A MABLETHORPE man was involved in a traffic collision on the A16 bypass near Louth on Friday morning.

The smash took place around 8.15am this morning at the junction with the A153 road to Horncastle.

Lincolnshire Police say the 36-year-old man’s red Vauxhall Tigra collided with a white Honda CRZ causing ‘quite a bit’ of damage and debris on the road.

The driver of the Honda is a 47-year-old woman from Cherry Willingham, near Wragby.

Both drivers were taken to Grimsby Hospital to be checked over the shock and bruising but are thought to be uninjured.

The debris was quickly cleared the traffic is flowing as normal.
