THE woman who was killed in the crash on the A16 at Driby Top, near Louth, on Thursday afternoon has been named as 28-year-old Katarzyna Olewicz.
She had been living in Prince Alfred Avenue in Skegness.
Her husband remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital and her three-year-old son, who suffered minor injuries in the collision, has returned to Poland with grandparents.
As reported last week, the crash happened at around 2.45pm on Thursday, closing the road for several hours.
The woman, a passenger, was pronounced dead at the scene and the male driver of the same car was taken by air ambulance to Hull Royal Infirmary seriously injured.
The three-year-old boy, who was also a passenger in that car was taken by road ambulance to Grimsby Hospital.
Another woman, the sole occupant of the other car, was taken to Grimsby hospital with what are believed to be serious injuries.
The road was closed for several hours and diversions put in place whilst the cars were recovered and the police investigation was carried out.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash to contact them.
