UPDATE: Police appeal after six people hospitalised in Louth car crash

Six people, four women and two men, were injured in a collision in Edward Street Louth at 7.25pm last night, Friday June 27.

Police, Ambulance Service and Fire and Rescue Service were all called to the scene, where it appears a car had crashed into the wall of a house.

The incident involved just one vehicle, a red Seat Leon. Two women are thought to have been seriously injured, while the remaining four - two men and two women - received minor injuries. All six have been taken to hospital in either Hull or Grimsby.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have seen the collision or the vehicle in the area at the time. Anyone with any information is asked to call Lincolnshire Police on 101 quoting incident 393 of 27/06/2014 or the Lincolnshire Police Collision Witness Hotline via 01522 558855.
