Trusthorpe man made obscene calls to police emergency number

A 39-year-old man from Trusthorpe is due to appear in court today (December 30), charged with making two offensive phone calls to a police emergency number last month.

Arron Maher, of Sutton Road, is charged with making the two phone calls from his home on November 20.

The calls were considered to be “grossly offensive or of an indecent, obscene or menacing character”, in breach of the Communications Act 2003.

Maher is due to appear at Skegness Magistrates’ Court this afternoon.
