Two men appear in court over quad bike theft

The two men arrested on Wednesday (February 26) in connection with the theft of a quad bike have appeared at Boston Magistrates Court, with one being remanded in custody. Both men will appear at Lincoln Crown Court on March 17.

John Bell, 40, of Park Road, Parkfield in Bradford appeared in court yesterday (Thursday February 27) was remanded in custody after being charged with burglary.

The quad bike, worth £9555, was stolen overnight on Tuesday February 25 in South Reston, near Louth. Police recovered the quad bike the following morning.

Bell was also charged with two trespassing offences in the Skegness area dating back to January 3, when he allegedly stole keys to a Ford Ranger and agricultural vehicles.

Also appearing in court yesterday was Nicky Conway, 34, of Smith Avenue, Osdal in Bradford.

Conway was only charged with the burglary in South Reston, and has been released on conditional bail until his next court appearance in Lincoln.
