Two men injured in Mablethorpe assault

Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault in Mablethorpe.

The incident happened around 11.20pm on Thursday 11th December outside Jesters Bar, on Victoria Road.

A 30-year-old local man was taken to hospital suffering from facial injuries. He was later transferred to Lincoln County Hospital for specialist treatment.

A second man, aged 34, was also injured but less seriously so.

Two men, aged 37 and 39, from Middlesborough, were arrested on suspicion of assault and are currently being interviewed at Skegness Police Station.
