Vets raise £3,334 for dogs

A TEAM of seven from Cook Timson & Bett veterinary centre in Louth took part in the Coniston Challenge in the Lake District in aid of the Guide Dogs.

The hardy team from the vets in James Street biked through the Grizedale forest, canoed across Lake Coniston and climbed up the Old Man of Coniston.

They completed the gruelling challenge in five hours and 56 minutes under very wet conditions.

The total raised for the Guide Dogs by Cook Timson & Bett was £3,334 and the whole challenge organised by The Guide Dogs raised £104,000 which will buy, train and keep two guide dogs for life.

The staff at the vets thanked everyone for their support.
