Couture Amour Lingerie Boutique in Eastgate, Louth, has won a national window display competition organised by the French brand Passionata.
The competition was open to all stockists of Passionata including department stores and independent shops and was judged in October.
Stockists were asked to embrace the gypsy chic theme, choosing two out of four ranges.
Helen Long, shop Proprietor, said: “We decided that we could showcase the ranges by creating the entrance to a Romany style gypsy caravan using their brand colour, logos and name, this in turn reinforced the Passionata brand. We also incorporated the brand logo inside a teacup taking the form of the picture for reading the tea leaves.
“The main feature in our window display was their Glamorous range in peacock green, a very sophisticated alternative to black which was complemented by exotic costume jewellery to carry the theme through.
“The closing date was October 31 and we were contacted on November 4 by Tracy Tougher from Passionata informing us of our success, we were told that it was our gypsy caravan that had clinched it, so the long hours of construction had paid off, and that we had totally captured the essence of the range.”
She said it was another national award win for the town and they were proud to put Louth on the map once again.
