VIDEO: Hundreds gather for Aldi’s grand opening in Louth

Over 400 people gathered for the grand opening of Louth’s new Aldi store this morning (December 3).

Representatives from Louth Interskill cut the ribbon at 8am, alongside store manager Chris Over.

The first 100 people in the queue were given ‘golden tickets’ - each envelope containing a prize - with one lucky family walking away with a new 55” television.

Lyn and Carol from Nottingham - who had waited in the car park for almost 48 hours - both received tablet computers for their efforts.
