Louth Market Place is illuminated with Christmas lights after a fantastic festive market culminated in the annual switch on.
Thousands of people packed into the town centre on Sunday for the Christmas market, with a huge array of stalls and entertainment.
It was a freezing cold but dry and bright day, and traders were rewarded with large crowds throughout.
At 3pm, after local schools had put on their own carol singing show, Louth Mayor Coun Jill Makinson-Sanders and George Horton of Louth Town Partnership led the crowd in a countdown from ten as the lights were switched on.
