Video: Monks’ Dyke students go under the hair clippers for a good cause

Four students at Monks’ Dyke Tennyson College in Louth have opted for a more streamlined look, all in aid of charity.

Niall Short, Max Morris, Will Revell and Joe Wilson, all of whom had good heads of hair, have had their heads shaved at the school for Cancer Research UK.

The four came up with the idea themselves, after Max’s mum suffered from cancer.

The school’s English teacher John Hughes eagerly stepped up onto the school stage on Wednesday, during the last day of term, to do the shaving himself.

Between them the four raised a fantastic £400.20 for the charity.
