SOME people have complained about the new car park meters installed in East Lindsey District Council car parks.
The council says they have replaced meters which were up to 15-years-old and becoming ‘increasingly unreliable and expensive to maintain’.
The new meters require people to input their car registration number when buying a ticket.
Some people using car parks in Louth, including Kiln Lane in our video, have complained that they cannot always remember their registration and have to go back to the car to check, losing their place in the queue.
Others say the keyboard where they input the details is small and difficult for people with arthritis.
