DO you think Louth could be made to look even more lovely? If so the town needs your vote!
Louth Town Partnership is asking people to help it win a competition which would make the town even lovelier. The partnership has got through to the second round of the NatWest Bank’s competition which offers a prize of £6,000 in funding to help enhance the town’s street scene and gateways.
If successful, the partnership would improve the visual appeal of Louth and expand the community garden scheme.
Louth Town Manager Alison Hall said: “This funding would help build on the already fantastic work carried out by the local authorities and community groups who tend the townscape and improve the natural landscape.
“The Louth Town Partnership finalised its annual action plan this week and this includes the pledge to enter Louth into the East Midland’s In Bloom competition. This funding would really kick-start our efforts.”
