Warning over mystery man outside Louth school

POLICE are appealing for information about a man who was behaving suspiciously outside the gates of Lacey Gardens County Junior School in Louth.

The man is alleged to have approached two 11-year-olds on their way to school on Monday morning and made inappropriate comments.

A man matching the same description was later challenged by a teacher after being seen hanging around one of the school gates.

The man is described as white, in his late 30s, of slim build, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a bright yellow hooded jacket with light, baggy jeans and dark blue pumps.

He was carrying a red rucksack, a camera case and a can of drink, possibly beer.
