‘We will remember them’ - memorial service details for the coast

The offical Remembrance Services are this Sunday and here are the vital details about the services in Mablethorpe and Sutton on Sea.

The services are organised by the Mablethorpe and District Royal British Legion.

The first service of the day will be at the Station Sports Centre in Mablethorpe and people are being asked to assemble there from 9.45am ready for the procession led by the clergy at 10am.

The United Remembrance Sunday Service will take place from 10.15-10.45am, followed by the laying of wreaths at Mablethorpe War Memorial at 11am.

For the residents of Sutton on Sea and Trusthorpe,Sutton on Sea Methodist Church will hold their remembrance service by the Rev Munday from 9.30am.

Then everyone can join the British Legion at Sutton on Sea War Memorial from 12.30pm for the service of remebrance and the laying of wreaths.

Following on from the two memorial services in the towns, there will be another service and the laying of wreaths and hymns at Mablethorpe RNLI Lifeboat Station that is taking place from 2pm.

Everyone is welcome to attend the listed memorial services and laying of wreaths.

If you don’t already have a poppy, the Mablethorpe and District British Legion are selling poppies in exchange for a donation in the Co-operative supermarket in Mablethorpe.
