A World War One Memorial Display will be taking place on Saturday September 13.

The display will take place All Saints Church in South Elkington, and the event will run from 11am until 4pm.

Taking part in the county-wide commemoration of Lincolnshire in the Great War, the special display will give a vivid snapshot of how life was profoundly affected at the time.

The temporary exhibition will focus on the lives of nine young men who gave their lives during the conflict.

Set in the beautiful Grade II listed church, just outside Louth, the event will also feature refreshments and music throughout the day.

Disabled access is available via the West Tower entrance.

All proceeds will go to the British Legion, and the event if part of the ‘Heritage Open Day’ scheme.
