LETTER: Fundraiser success story

Last week your paper kindly advertised ‘Shelagh Larter day’. It took place in the village hall on Saturday September 13.

It was a huge success and we raised over £900 for Macmillan nurses and St Barnabas Hospice.

I wish to thank everyone who worked so hard to make the day a success.

Thank you also to all the Louth businesses that provided prizes, cakes, fruit etc. Also thanks to everyone who contributed bric-a-brac and to those who displayed craft exhibitions.

Finally, of course, the day would have been nothing without the customers who spent money or made donations to the fund
