Reading your recent letter about lonely pensioners I to suffer from that.
Having lost my family 10 years ago or so I find myself watching many hours of TV. Having been in Lincoln or Grimsby Hospital for the fifth time, recently discharged with a incurable lung condition, at the age of 82, but not depressed and with diabetes, I’m not yet ready to give up my independence.
It would be helpful to talk to somebody in the same boat. I’m fiercely independent.
