EDITOR - As the Sutton on Sea First Responders group coordinator, I would like to thank Community Spirit for their generous donation of £4,000 plus £205 from the dolls house raffle as featured in the Mablethorpe Leader last week (Wednesday, March 12).
We were saddened to learn that the Community Spirit Group have finished and wish the former members all the best in the future.
They raised a lot of money for good causes over the last few years.
Living in Lincolnshire gives us many pleasures. Being surrounded by rural countryside and quiet communities is what brings many of us here but if you or someone you love needs urgent emergency attention, you need rapid emergency response.
As part of LIVES our volunteers respond to suitable 999 emergency medical calls with the aim of getting to the patient within six minutes in our community.
We are currently training two of our responders for Road Traffic Collision emergencies ready if LIVES implement a policy to respond to such emergencies.
We are actively recruiting for more members to join our happy band of volunteer responders.
No previous medical experience is necessary and free training is given.
For more information on how you can help save LIVES please contact me on 01507 440194 or the LIVES HQ number 01507 525999.
