Letter: Wonderful violinist

Editor - I needed no encouragement from Allegro Appassionato to introduce you to a new talent who fascinated us with his performance as a solo violinist.

Liam Funnell comes from a family of musicians so rather than read any more from me I am enclosing brief details from Allegro’s current brochure and make no further comment except to say that Liam’s performance of a movement from a Vivaldi concerto was particularly memorable. “Liam plays with the Lincolnshire Youth Symphony Orchestra and is co-leader of the Lincolnshire Youth Chamber Orchestra.” Liam has been accepted by Cardiff for four years ultimate musical education. I am certain that his gifted playing will have become known well before the end of that time. Go along every Wednesday lunchtime at the Conoco Room.
