EDITOR – Parking in the town is already bad enough without taking away a car park.
Many people use the car park in Eastgate to visit the shops at that end of town like Wilkos.
Take that away and where are people going to go? I would bet a lot would try to park at Morrisons and others will squeeze along the road.
Yes, you’ve got the car park in Northgate and you can walk from the Co-op car park, but on busy market days we need more parking spaces, not less.
I know a lot of people can’t afford to use their cars as much as they did because of the price of fuel, but if you live outside Louth then you need to come in and use the shops.
They should be making the town more accessible not less.
