Outings to Hubbard’s Hill spoiled by nuisance dogs

EDITOR - Whilst having a family day out at Hubbard’s Hills we noticed on many occasions that irresponsible dog owners had not cleaned up after their pets and even a horse owner had failed to clean up after their animal.

My children were playing near to us when my three-year-old daughter was wrapped up by a lively dog on an extendable lead and on a separate occasion my one-year-old daughter was approached by a dog off a lead.

The owner made no attempt to call the dog back and I was forced to step in and push the dog away.

Surely dogs should be banned from Hubbard’s Hills if irresponsible owners cannot keep their animals on a short lead at all times and clean up after their dogs.
