DON Noble came up trumps again in sponsoring the Lincolnshire PGA Pro-Am held at Louth Golf Club.

The winning professional on 69 was John Wells from Cherry Burton GC and CC.

The winning team on a count back was that of David McNicholas (Normandy Hall GC) with his team of Keith Aston, Mark Squires and Russ Howard, all from Louth GC.

Twenty four pairs played in the Elliott Trophy mixed competition. The greensomes stableford was won by Di Rowbotham and Ian Tyas with 43 points.

Second Carole and Andy Craven, 39pts; 3rd Sandra and Bob Conway, 38pts; 4th Pam Hayden and Andrew Wilkinson, 37pts.

Pat Castle, Ladies Captain, held her golf day with a morning 18 hole individual stableford played, and an afternoon fun 9 hole Yellow Ball three woman team competition.

The day was rounded off with well over 50 attending a presentation dinner.

The winner of the Captain’s Day Trophy was Anne Brackenbury with 39pts (12 back 6).

The afternoon Fun Yellow Ball: 1st Anne Brackenbury, Helen Dunning and Jean Brunsden, 55pts.
