Louth Old Boys U15s

Louth Old Boys travelled to Lincoln to face Birchwood U15s knowing that a victory would give them their first league title since forming as seven-year-olds.

It seemed that Old Boys had saved their best football until the end of the season as some of their passing and movement was outstanding.

Ryan Worrel opened the scoring for the league leaders after a fine ball in from Devon Ainscow and the rest of the team could sense this might be their day.

The second half went exactly the same way with Old Boys dominating possession and Ryan Worrel added another goal to his impressive tally to ensure all the points went to Louth, making them the under 15s league champions for 2014/15.

Darren and Steve would like to express their thanks to the boys as their behaviour on and off the pitch has been second to none this season and they are a credit to the whole club.

The whole team would like to thank Raj, Harri and Shian of Kenwick News and Skillbase Ltd of Derby for their support this year.
