Kirton U15s 0-3 Louth Old Boys U15s

After a two week break, it was back to A league action for Louth Old Boys U15s.

They faced a trip to Kirton who have been struggling this season, but as manager Darren Ainscow explained before kick off, you have to try and maintain your concentration regardless of who your playing.

As it turned out, the whole of the first half was played in torrential rain, and as such, it wasn’t pretty football and ended the half 0-0.

The Louth team came straight out for the second half really meaning business and were eventually rewarded with a Joe White headed goal direct from a corner.

This seemed to knock the stuffing out of the hosts and Old Boys were able to display some really fast slick passing football. Another two goals from Jamie Riddel and Ryan Worrel meant the visitors finished the game 3-0 victors.

That’s maximum points from the first five games of the season and leaves the team in a really strong position for the championship.
