Goals from Fraser Finlay, Chris Ella and Rocky Rawlings had given Town the lead each time before the Conference North side hit back.

Town boss Daryl Clare was full of praise for his side after the game.

“Being disappointed at drawing 3-3 with a Boston United XI shows the self belief and expectation levels with the squad,” he said.

“Another three goals scored and as ever desire and togetherness was there for all to see.

“When we cut out the lapses in concentration were are begining to look like a decent outfit.”

Town’s man of the match was defender Nick Manders.

Town go on to face Grimsby Town tonight at Park Avenue (7.45pm), see the Leader on Wednesday for the full report and pictures.
