Louth Six-a-Side League: Top two pull clear of chasing pack

Mark Donner AFC kept up the pressure on the Louth Six-a-Side League leaders with a 4-0 win against Petr Cech Yourself.

The victory left them second on goal difference with Premier Division pacesetters Louth Legends who enjoyed a points match win.

The top two stretched their advantage over the rest of the chasing pack to four points after third-placed LA Crusaders slipped to a 1-0 defeat against Louth All Stars.

Game of Throw-Ins eased part Marshall BMW in their mid-table battle thanks to a Mark Vickerage-inspired 5-0 win.

Team P and B leapfrogged above Petr Cech Yourself and off the bottom thanks to a points match win.

* In the Championship, runaway leaders Job Centre XI fell to a shock 1-0 defeat to mid-table Dragon Men for their first loss of the season.

But their three-point lead remained intact after Susie’s Stars were also beaten, 2-1, by Louth OGz who moved above them into second on goal difference.

Sub Standard kept themselves in the race after a narrow 2-1 victory against basement side Tekkerslovakia who remain winless.

Stroke T held fifth-placed #DS9 to a 1-1 draw, while eighth-placed Golden Oldies drew level on points with Real SoSoBad after beating them 2-1.
