Louth Town and Grimsby Borough announce memorial match in memory of supporter Barry Brown who died in A16 crash

Louth Town FC have announced a memorial football match to remember a much loved supporter of the club who died in a crash on the A16 in December.

The White Wolves will travel to Grimsby Borough for the Barry Brown memorial match on Friday, July 19 (7.45pm).

Barry Brown, who died aged 77 in a head on crash on the A16 near the Brackenborough Hotel on December 4, was a keen supporter of both clubs.

Both clubs decided to set up the clash in his memory and it will be played at the Bradley Community Stadium, Borough’s home ground.

Entry prices are yet to be announced.
