Louth Cricket Club 2ndXI continued their bad start to the season with a defeat away to Appleby Frodingham.

Captain Duell won the toss and elected to bowl which after Ryder and Brindle took a wicket a piece and left the home side 9 for 2 seemed to look a great decision.

This however brought the experience of Bramley and Grimes to the crease and built a partnership allowing the home side to finish of 228 for 3. Dropped catches and extras continue to cause a problem for Louth.

In reply it was only Liam Taylor who managed to trouble the scorers with his 37 and Louth 2nds were dismissed for 115.
