Emma Bristow has been crowned a national champion once again as she retained her title in convincing fashion last week.

The Alford bike ace successfully made it back-to-back ACU Ladies British Trials Championship crowns after two further wins in the final rounds of the competition.

The event climaxed at Scarlett Farm on the Isle of Man which hosted a strong field of riders who attempted three laps on each of the days over 12 hazards.

Bristow, riding her MRS Sherco, took the honours on both days to ensure she was the champion once again.

However, Emma had to do things the hard way, after missing a round of action to compete at the XGames EnduroCross in the United States.

This meant she had to win the two races at all of the six remaining rounds to finish on top of the podium.

“Despite the added pressure of having to win all the rounds I contested, I have proved once again that I am on top of my game,” Bristow said.

“On day one on the Isle of Man I felt very confident and this was reflected in my performance as I parted with no marks over the three laps which certainly tested my concentration levels.

“On day two I used my experience to take the win once again with a clear margin and with it the 2015 crown.

“The support from MRS Sherco and all my associated sponsors has once again been rewarded with another British title.”

Becky Cook was the runner-up with Donna Fox finishing in third.
