It was another good week for The Jays who notched up two good victories and took their winning run to six games in the Louth Indoor Bowls Triples League, which has seen them fly up the table to third spot.

They beat Dreamers 14-7 and trounced Two Plus One 25-8, although the latter team was a player short.

Highgate Wanderers still rule the roost however, despite being held to a 14-14 draw by second-placed Oaks in their first game after opening up a 10-1 lead.

Wanderers nearly threw away an even bigger lead in their next game against In A Minute. They were 15-0 ahead after just four ends, but only won 18-13 after the opposing trio of George and Gill Chesman and Don Malcolm staged a great fightback.

Mudlarks have slipped to fourth after another inconsistent week. They beat In A Minute 11-7 but lost 12-10 to Dreamers. Other games saw Oaks comfortably win 21-4 against Seagulls who had earlier beaten two Plus One 14-10.
