Louth rider Peter Hickman heads to Thruxton at the weekend to contest two races in round seven of the MCE British Superbike championship.
Riding the RAF Reserves/Lee Hardy Racing BMW, Hicky will be hoping for a change of luck after a poor showing at Brands Hatch last time out.
He was taken out of the first race on the second corner and then had problems with a loose foot rest in the second race.
Hicky has gone well at Thruxton over the years and has finished on the podium in the past so he will be hoping to replicate this on Sunday.
There are three free practice sessions, two on Friday plus a third on Saturday ahead of the three-stage qualifying laps.
The two races take place on Sunday with the fastest laps from race one setting the grid for the afternoon’s second.
