In the Jubilee Snooker Teams Knockout the holders Harness & Cooper Joiners earned a vital win when they edged out Seymour & Castle 7-5, Pat O’Reilly was the match winner for his side with the only two-nil win as the rest drew while the leaders in the Cons Club group Dales Poultry & Game lost 7-5 to the one below Kitchen Solutions, Chris Dalton and Chris Parker both stepped on the gas for the hosts to close the gap as Pete Dales replied for the visitors.

The Town & Country Club group leaders Castaline had to settle for a 6-6 draw with Louth Travel Centre, The home outfit received a boost when Lee Willoughby put them in front, but they let slip their chance of a badly needed first win when Chris Wink secured the visitors a share of the spoils while second placed Louth Building Supplies took their opportunity to close in on top spot with a fine 8-4 win over GRS Electrical Services, Rob Johnson, Derek Adlam and Tony Byrne all won for their side as Dave Coppin replied for his faltering team.

After taking two heavy defeats Don Noble Bookmaker won 7-5 at J.Melton Painters with five players, Bob Camfield, Dave Johnson and John Bartup all kept their sides slim cup hopes alive while Mark Bullivant and the walkover gave the hosts their points, The league champions N.T.Shaw Citroen were held 6-6 by Sibjon Builders, Ian Cook and Hayden Gavey were the two home winners as Bob Barnes and Sid Bett both replied in a match between two group strugglers.
