Captain Steve Owen, of Louth Golf Club, held the third of four Presentation Evenings for winners and places of competitions over the last month, combined with a Mexican themed meal.

Keith West Trophy winner V. J Best; Junior Fund Raiser winner C. Baily; Crowson Medal winner S Smith; Waumsley winner S Squires; Members Cup winner Alistair Damms, Ladies winner F Smith; Man’s Captain’s Day winner R Fair, Ladies winner (pairs 9 hole scramble) J Barber & L Elliott; Terry Winter Greensomes winners G Chester & C Frary; Steve Owen Shield winner G Chester; Club Championship winner of both the Gibson (net) and Moody Trophy (gross) M Branowsky.

The Gents Invitation for the Fardem Trophy was one of three major competition which had to be rescheduled having been rained off earlier in the season, and it looked like it may be rained off again as there were two torrential storms the night before.

It was a shotgun pair’s better-ball stableford. The winners were: 1st Andy Partridge & G Houghton (Ganstead) 48; 2nd J Taylor & S Bratton 43; 3rd S Moody & I Dickenson 42; 4th P Stocks & C Dale 41; 5th J Barton & N Coton 41.
