Kenwick Park seniors tackled breezy conditions as they played a stableford competition for the John King Salver.
Jeremy Hexton (21 handicap) had an excellent round, scoring 42 points to win by four from Mark Ryder (9). Graham Ward (15) took third place with 36 on countback from Martin Sizer (15) and Brian Clark (24).
Jeremy’s victory here, plus his second place in the Sam King trophies, reduced his handicap by four shots to 19 in just five days.
John King sponsored the competition and provided all the prizes, allowing all of the entry fees to go to the seniors’ captain charity, the Louth Hospice.
