Louth Golf Club hosted their annual Seniors Open Day on a cold and windy day.
A total of 100 players, with 50 visitors from 26 different clubs, played in a betterball stableford which produced some very close scores.
Winners of the trophy, donated by E. Turner and D. Potter, were Louth GC members Mick Leverton and Alan Simmons with 45 points.
They took the spoils after a countback from clubmates Ken Wakeling and Pete Wilson.
Eric Turner and Don Potter (Louth) were third with 44 points and Dave Nutten and Andy Sayers completed a clean sweep of the four places for the home club with 42 points.
The prize for the best visitors not in the prizes went to A. Russell and M. Stevenson, from Huddersfield, with 41 points.
Geoff Garside (Laceby Manor) was nearest-the-pin on the ninth hole, and David Hamilton (Stoke Rochford) was nearest-the-pin on the 15th.
There were several twos, scored mainly by visiting players.
