Louth golfer Ashton Turner helped England Boys to a semi-final place of the European Boy’s Team Championship on Thursday.
The Kenwick Park golfer secured a 2&1 victory in the singles to help England see off Ireland
The morning foursomes were both close games with Turner and Sussex’s Marco Penge losing out on the last hole.
But Turner hit back in the afternoon with a 2&1 victory.
England will face Norway in the semi-finals, who beat Scotland.
The other semi-final match will be contended by Italy and France.
